Job Fair Announcement for International Students Seeking Employment in Kyushu

We recently released an article about residence status for international students’ job search, and quite timely, we received information about a job fair event that provides an excellent opportunity for international students to further enhance their job search activities.

On March 11, 2025, the “International Students Job Fair Kyushu” will be held.

Over 30 companies from Kyushu will participate!

 It is a valuable opportunity to receive direct explanations from recruiters at each company’s booth.

It is an excellent chance to gain a deeper understanding of the company culture and business operations.

The event is organized by the Fukuoka Foreigners’ Service Center, which is part of the Fukuoka Labor Bureau, with support from the Fukuoka Immigration Services Agency, the City of Fukuoka, JETRO Fukuoka, and the Fukuoka Gyoseishoshi Lawyers Association.

As this is a government-led event, you can participate with confidence.

Eligible Participants

This event is intended for international students who are scheduled to graduate in March 2026 from universities, graduate schools, junior colleges, technical colleges, or vocational schools, as well as graduates within three years of completion.

It is also an excellent opportunity for those graduating this March who are continuing their job search.

Please note that those visiting Japan on a short-term stay are unfortunately not eligible.

The venue is “ACROS Fukuoka” in Tenjin, Fukuoka City.

For international students traveling from other prefectures in Kyushu (Saga, Nagasaki, Oita, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, Kagoshima), a free shuttle bus service is available, which can be reserved in advance.
